Choosing a desk mat for casual card games
Check table space, card layout, and artwork before using a desk mat for your next game.
Lay out your actual game
Our mats offer a 22 × 12 inch surface. Before ordering, lay out your cards, deck, discard pile, counters, and any other game pieces inside a rectangle that size. Leave room for your hands. Different games and play styles need different amounts of space.
Choose art you can read around
A detailed scene is fun between games, but you may prefer a quieter area under the cards during play. Look at the entire product image rather than a close-up. Save a few favorites and send a wishlist link to your group.
Casual table, tournament table
These are desk mats without printed game zones. They are not presented as official tournament accessories or as a guarantee of card protection. For organized events, ask the organizer about permitted mat sizes and artwork. Use card sleeves when you need them.
Keep the playing area dry
Keep drinks away from the play surface and check the mat and table for grit before putting cards down. Put cards away before cleaning. If a mat becomes wet, let it dry fully before using it again.
